Accessibility Statement

We want every trade customer, supplier and partner to be able to use this website comfortably, whatever device or assistive technology they rely on.

Our approach and target standard

This website has been built with accessibility in mind and we are working towards the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines. That includes semantic headings and landmarks, a skip-to-content link, keyboard-operable navigation and forms, visible focus indicators, descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and colour combinations chosen for readable contrast.
Forms use clear labels, mark required fields programmatically, and announce validation messages and confirmations to assistive technology. Layouts are responsive and tested from small mobile widths up to large desktop widths.
We describe this as a target rather than a certified conformance claim, because we have not commissioned an independent third-party accessibility audit of this website.

Motion and animation

Animations are subtle and decorative. If your device or browser requests reduced motion, animation and transitions are minimised automatically.

Known limitations

No independent audit has been carried out, so some issues may not yet have been identified.
Some interface components are built on a third-party component library. Where that library changes, keyboard and screen-reader behaviour is re-checked by us rather than certified.
The AI Trade Assistant streams replies into a live region. Screen-reader announcement of longer replies may be verbose or may be interrupted by a new reply.
Long enquiry forms present many fields in sequence; completing them with a screen reader or switch access can take longer than we would like, and we are reviewing how they are grouped.
The protected administrator enquiries area has been checked for keyboard operation but has had less accessibility testing than the public pages.
PDF or other documents shared during a commercial enquiry originate from suppliers and may not be fully accessible. Tell us and we will provide the content another way.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter something on this website that is difficult or impossible to use, please tell us. Describe the page address, what you were trying to do, the barrier you met, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We will investigate and offer an alternative way to complete your enquiry in the meantime — including by telephone or email.
